Repairing your Windows registry

The Latest Scan Results window displays the problems found in your Windows registry.

Below the Attention bar is a list of the errors found by RegistryMum. You may scroll this list and select individual entries to repair or to leave unchanged.

1. By default, RegistryMum will repair all the detected errors. You can choose to add or remove individual errors, to or from a scan, by selecting or unselecting the adjacent checkbox, as appropriate
2. To repair all errors, click on the Fix Errors button.
3. If you don't want to clean certain errors please remove them from the list of errors on the Latest Scan Results page. The errors will then be added to RegistryMum's Ignore List.
4. RegistryMum also allows you to create a backup of your registry entries before repairing errors found.

Before repairing your registry, RegistryMum will automatically back up the registry.

If you have not taken a backup, we advise that you take one now. Click Restore tab and create a backup.

To the right of the user interface, you will also notice that the summary panel shows you the number of errors found and the number of registry errors cleaned.
