Scanning Windows Registry

When RegistryMum starts, the Overview screen is the default screen.

Click on the Start Scan button on the Overview screen, to start scanning your Windows registry.

RegistryMum will start scanning and for a short while and you will see a scan progress screen.

1. The progress screen will show you how many errors RegistryMum has found in each area of the Windows registry. Errors are marked with red symbol.

2. By clicking the Cancel Scan button, you will be able to abort the scan. RegistryMum will also ask you to reconfirm your decision to stop the scan.

Once you have run your scan, the Results window appears to list the errors and problems found by RegistryMum. Immediately, RegistryMum prompts you with the total number of errors found.
